Kimpton Is Opening Another Hotel in Mexico
Kimpton is set to debut its first-ever all-inclusive in the first quarter of this year in Mexico, and now it’s planning another new property: the Kimpton Monterrey, which is opening its doors in 2026 in what will be the tallest skyscraper in all of Latin America.
The new Kimpton Monterrey will be both a hotel and residences, with 120 rooms, 60 residential units and a destination wellness center.
The project by Grupo Alora will be what Kimpton is calling a “design forward” hotel, with amenities including an indoor pool, a restaurant (one of the hallmarks of the Kimpton brand) and a decently-sized meeting space.
And yes, you get all of the things travelers (including us) love about Kimptons: the daily social hours, the coffee service, the yoga mats and more.
If you can’t wait for the Monterrey debut, Kimpton has several top resorts in the Caribbean-Mexico region, including the just-debuted Kimpton Las Mercedes in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. It’s a place that is, in our opinion, one of the most underrated destinations in the whole region.
