Margaritaville’s New Beach Bar in Belize Will Serve You Cocktails Right in the Ocean
Margaritaville’s Belize resort just introduced a pair of new culinary concepts, including a very cool new beach spot.
The Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye has added two new experiences: the three-course Belizean eatery called Riddles in the Sand, and the new toes-in-the-sand bar and lounge called Shoreline.
The Shoreline, an “island style beach shack” that has a special party piece: the bar will serve cocktails directly to guest who are wading in the ocean.
It’s a “one-of-a-kind vibe that’s both rustic and enchanting,” Margaritaville says.
The new flagship eatery at the property, Riddles in the Sand, has a special three-course dinner that focuses on Belizean favorites from tamales to chime to barbecue.
It’s a family-style, communal-table experience; just make sure you make your reservation at least a day in advance.
“We are thrilled to bring these two distinctive Belizean dining experiences to our guests,” said Shawn Marshall, General Manager of Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye Belize.
Belize is no stranger to great beach bars and waterfront watering holes, including Ambergris Caye itself, which is home to the Caribbean’s number one concentration of overwater bars, something we really enjoyed in our recent visit to the island.
So what about prices?
The resort has rooms in January going for about $257 per night, according to its website.
