About St. Thomas Virgin Islands

If America’s Caribbean has a capital, it’s almost certainly St. Thomas Virgin Islands. The USVI’s popular cruise port is a beach-filled destination home to serious duty-free shopping, a cornucopia of scenic beaches and easy access to a host of island-hopping destinations around both the Virgin Islands and the wider Caribbean.

That’s coupled with great air access from a number of major cities in the US, meaning it’s easy to get here, but hard to leave.

The St. Thomas Virgin Islands charm is difficult to resist, whether you’re taking in a daiquiri at Mountain Top or trying your hand at the freezing temperatures of the Magic Ice attraction.

But this is a cultural destination, too, from the Danish architecture to its boast as the birthplace of legendary artist Camille Pissarro.

So whether you’re coming here on a cruise or just looking for a quick, no-passport-required getaway from the US, St. Thomas is for you.
