Another top Turks and Caicos resort is opening its doors in the wake of Irma and Maria.

The Gansevoort Turks and Caicos will reopen for the fall and winter season on Oct. 5.

The property did not sustain any “major damage,” from Hurricane Irma, according to a company statement.

Hurricane Maria traveled east of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

“The team has been hard at work completing beautification and landscaping projects around the property,” the property said.

Providenciales’ airport has already reopened, while more and more restaurants and hotels have begun reopening.

“The Gansevoort Turks + Caicos team has been working hard to ready the resort for re-opening and we are all looking forward to welcoming back our guests,” said Grant Friedman, general manager at Gansevoort Turks + Caicos. “The destination, and especially Grace Bay Beach, is ready to host visitors once again in our special corner of paradise.”
