Hilton Just Opened a New Dominican Republic All-Inclusive With Beach Bungalows, Personal Concierges, and Rooftop Pools

Rooftop infinity pools. Taíno-inspired spa rituals. Bungalows right on the beach. Hilton has officially opened its newest Dominican Republic resort: Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton. Located on Playa Esmeralda, the 500-room property is the first all-inclusive Curio Collection resort in the Dominican Republic.

Set on a secluded stretch of coastline about 60 miles from Punta Cana International Airport, the resort blends contemporary design with references to the heritage of the island’s Indigenous Taíno people. Architect Antonio Segundo Imbert, along with Adriana Hoyos Design Studio and Arkham Projects, led the creative direction, integrating native materials and hand-crafted elements across six low-rise buildings.

Accommodations range from standard guest rooms to Club Azure suites and beachfront bungalows. Many ground-floor suites feature private plunge pools. Club Azure guests have access to exclusive amenities, including rooftop lounges, a dedicated concierge, and a private infinity pool. Twenty oceanfront bungalows offer larger layouts, beach access, and membership to Club Azure.

Dining spans 14 restaurants, bars, and lounges. Highlights include Toa, a Caribbean concept showcasing local ingredients and culinary traditions; Boba, which focuses on Thai street food; and Manicato, offering a menu inspired by Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Additional options include a swim-up bar, a gastropub, a tropical juice bar by day and cocktail lounge by night, and Club Azure-exclusive venues such as The Royal Palm and Jagua.

The resort includes multiple family-oriented features. Children ages 3–12 can participate in marine education and baking classes at the Coki Cove Kids Club. A teens’ club with arcade games and VR experiences is forthcoming, along with recreational offerings such as firepits, waterslides, and courts for pickleball and paddleball.

Opening later this year, the Acana Spa & Wellness center will span more than 16,000 square feet, with 11 treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy circuit, and a fitness center. Spa treatments will include rituals inspired by Taíno wellness practices.

Zemi Miches also serves as a venue for events and weddings. The property features over 10,000 square feet of flexible event space and offers cultural programming including local workshops, performances, and conservation-focused beach activities.

Surrounding excursions include visits to Los Haitises National Park, Salto de La Jalda Waterfall, and seasonal whale watching. The launch of Zemi Miches aligns with Hilton’s broader push into the regional leisure market and introduces one of the region’s lesser-known destinations to a global audience, one of the Caribbean’s up-and-coming hotel hotspots (with new hotels from a number of new brands in Miches).

An aerial look at the resort.

And yes, it’s part of Hilton, so you can book it with Hilton Honors points.

Rates at the resort start at as low as $677 right now for a tropical-view room with a king bed. For one of the plunge pool rooms, it’s $765 per night (totally worth the splurge, in our view).

If you want one of the elevated-amenity Club Azure rooms, they start at $1,018. But we’d suggest sticking with one of the plunge pool rooms — the extra amenities for a standard Azure room don’t outweigh the benefits of your own pool.

What about actually getting to Miches? First, you need to fly to Punta Cana. Either rent a car or arrange a transfer directly with the hotel (or with a Viator provider). The trip takes about an hour and a half.
