The island of Montserrat is home to a brand-new beach bar in the Marine Village at Little Bay.

It’s called Monty’s Dive Centre/Beach Bar, and it’s owned by Monty Burns, a former officer of the Royal Navy.

The boat-themed bar is open Mondays to Sundays from 10 AM to 2 AM, and is a fully-equipped, certified member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).

The dive centre is one of four units located at the Marine Village, which was constructed by the Monsterrat Development Corporation.

Burns has also become the first official member of Montserrat’s Community Marine Patrol Programme, which is a partnership with the Royal Montserrat Police that helps with patrol, rescue and dive operations.
