Bermuda’s Elbow Beach, Mandarin Oriental Parting Ways

The Elbow Beach Hotel & Development Company will be taking over management at the Elbow Beach, Bermuda resort when the management contract of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group expires later this year.

Mandarin’s management contract expires on March 31. It had managed the property since 2000.

“The ownership and board of Elbow Beach Hotel would like to express their appreciation for the exceptional management services that Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has provided over the years,” said Ayed Al Jeaid, board chairman of the Elbow Beach Hotel & Development Company Limited. “We are confident that the resort will remain well positioned for success.”

In a statement, the resort said it would “continue to operate as usual and will remain focused on providing exceptional service to its guests.”

The Bermuda resort has a total of 98 rooms and suites on a 50-acre site.
