Dominica has unveiled a new tourism commercial aiming to court visitors from the local Caribbean market.

The video is called “Just Next Door,” and was released by the Discover Dominica Authority this week.

It’s hosted by Miss Dominica 2013, Leslassa Armour-Shillingford.

“Dominica is a haven for divers, hikers, food, culture and party lovers,” Armour-Shillingford tells viewers.

Dominica has been among the region’s leaders for attracting intra-regional Caribbean travelers in recent years, both from nearby French departments like Guadeloupe and Martinique and the wider region.
