JetBlue has officially launched a new daily nonstop flight from Boston to Nassau, expanding winter airlift to The Bahamas just as peak holiday travel gets underway. The route, which began service last week gives New England travelers a direct, one-flight option to one of the Caribbean’s most diverse, experience-rich destinations.

The daily service connects Boston Logan International Airport with Lynden Pindling International Airport, strengthening JetBlue’s winter schedule and adding capacity at a time when demand for warm-weather escapes is highest. For travelers departing from Boston, the new flight eliminates the need for connections during the busiest stretch of the winter travel calendar.

The launch further expands JetBlue’s Caribbean network and reinforces Nassau’s role as one of the region’s most accessible gateways. New Providence Island continues to stand out for its concentration of large resorts, beaches, dining districts, and historic neighborhoods, all located within a short drive of the airport. That mix has helped Nassau remain a strong performer during the holiday season year after year.

Where to Stay

On Paradise Island, The Royal at Atlantis sits at the center of the Atlantis complex, placing guests closest to the casino, Marina Village, Aquaventure water park, and the largest collection of on-property restaurants. Rooms here offer the most direct access to the resort’s core amenities, making it a practical choice for travelers who want to maximize time within the Atlantis footprint.

Just steps away, The Coral at Atlantis provides a slightly quieter alternative while still delivering full access to Atlantis amenities. The Coral’s location near the marina and family-friendly pool areas appeals to travelers looking for a calmer base without sacrificing proximity to beaches, dining, and entertainment.

Across the bridge, Comfort Suites Paradise Island remains one of the most value-driven stays in Nassau. Guests receive complimentary breakfast and full access to Atlantis facilities while staying in an all-suite hotel separate from the main resort complex. The setup works especially well for travelers planning full days off-property or exploring multiple parts of the island.

On Cable Beach, SLS Baha Mar offers a more contemporary resort experience. The hotel combines direct beach access with easy entry to Baha Mar’s casino, dining venues, and nightlife. Rooms lean modern and compact, appealing to couples and groups drawn to a social, high-energy atmosphere with seamless transitions from pool to dinner to late evening drinks. But what I really love is the rooftop club here — it’s a must on Cable Beach.

Where to Eat and Drink

Nassau’s dining scene extends well beyond resort restaurants, particularly downtown and along the western end of New Providence. Graycliff Restaurant remains the city’s most iconic dining room, known for its historic setting, extensive wine cellar, and gourmet cuisine. A short distance away, Café Matisse pairs Italian cooking with an intimate courtyard atmosphere that has made it a longtime favorite of ours.

Farther west, Poop Deck Sandyport offers reliable seafood and waterfront views within the canals of Sandyport and a unique toes-in-the-sand dining option. For a more casual, local experience, the Arawak Cay Fish Fry remains the go-to cluster of restaurants for conch salad, fried fish, and traditional Bahamian sides in an informal, lively setting.

Cocktails are an essential part of the Nassau evening scene. Dilly Club is a downtown staple for well-crafted drinks and a relaxed crowd, while Bon Vivants (from the same team) delivers a classic cocktail-bar feel with carefully built menus and a neighborhood vibe, part of what we’ve called the hottest cocktail scene in the region right now.

How to Get There

JetBlue’s daily nonstop service from Boston to Nassau is now operating as part of the airline’s winter schedule. Lynden Pindling International Airport is located about twenty minutes from Paradise Island and Cable Beach, with taxis, transfers, and rental cars widely available. Nassau also offers U.S. pre-clearance for returning travelers, which can streamline the trip home during the busy holiday and winter travel period.

With the launch of this Boston–Nassau route, JetBlue has made it easier for New England travelers to reach one of the Caribbean’s most flexible winter destinations — right as high season hits its stride.

Prices

The best part? Fares are very attractive right now, as low as $300 roundtrip, based on what we found on Google Flights’ portal.
