What the new St. Regis will look like.

It’s been called the “New Cancun,” and now the increasingly hot area of Costa Mujeres is getting a new halo luxury resort.

Next spring, St. Regis is continuing its Caribbean expansion with the new St Regis Costa Mujeres Cancun resort.

The property is now taking bookings for stays beginning June 1, 2026, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.

Costa Mujeres has been a hotel development hotspot in recent years, with a plum stretch of coastline just across the water from the charming little island of Isla Mujeres (reached by ferry from the mainland).

It’s part of a growing collection of St. Regis resorts in the region, following the debut of two in 2025 alone: the St. Regis Aruba and the St. Regis Cap Cana.

More St. Regis resorts are already in development in Turks and Caicos and Costa Rica.

Prices at the new St Regis start at $479 per night for the opening, according to the property’s website.
