Delta Is Adding More Flights to Punta Cana This Winter From Atlanta
The beaches. The thatched roofs. The white sand. The Brugal. Punta Cana is one of those classic Caribbean hotspots, where you can stay at a large all-inclusive resort and in a few moments’ stroll end up at an old-school beach shack.
And the Dominican Republic’s most-visited destination is also easy to get to, with more flights from the US than almost any airport in the Caribbean, a number that’s about to grow.
Beginning in January 2026, Delta Air Lines is expanding its flights from Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport to Punta Cana’s famous thatched-roof airport.
The expanded service will mean an additional daily flight for the entirety of the period between Jan. 6 and April 12, 2026.
That means four daily flights from Atlanta to PUJ, a pretty big jump.
It’s part of a bigger Caribbean expansion for Delta this winter that the carrier just announced — a very positive sign for both Punta Cana and the region.
