A New Way to Fly From Connecticut to Punta Cana

Fast-growing low-cost carrier Avelo is at it again, with plans to launch another new nonstop flight from Hartford, Connecticut to the Caribbean. 

Beginning next month, Avelo will be operating two flights each week from Hartford to Punta Cana, the most-visited destination in the Dominican Republic. 

The nonstop flights will be operating on Fridays and Mondays, according to the company. 

Punta Cana will be the fourth destination for Avelo out of Hartford, joining Montego Bay (where Avelo is launching another new route next month), Cancun and San Juan, Puerto Rico. 

Flights officially take off on Feb. 15. It’s the only nonstop service from the Connecticut capital to Punta Cana. 

You can find prices for these flights as low as $283.79, although that is for tickets in middle seats on both legs. If you want aisle or window seats, It would be about $10 more.
