One of the world’s leading chefs is joining the lineup for the highly-anticipated second edition of the Nassau Paradise Island Wine and Food Festival.

Star Chef Jose Andres, whose only Caribbean restaurant is at the Cove at Atlantis Paradise Island resort, is coming to Paradise Island for the festival, which runs from March 13-17.

This year’s slate of chefs also includes Tony Abou-Ganim, Duff Goldman, Robert Irvine, JJ Johnson, Nobu Matsuhisa, Dan McKee, Alon Shaya, Martha Stewart, Michael White and Andrew Zimmern.

The festival has added several more experiences to the agenda, including a new “Conch Tales” event led by Andres and restaurateur Mark Brown; a new Gospel Brunch at Cafe Martinique led by gospel superstar Hezekiah Walker; a sushi making class with Nobu Matsuhisa; and a wine dinner with Martha Stewart, among others.

It’s a one-of-a-kind event in a destination that has become arguably the new culinary capital of the Caribbean, with top international chefs and local stars helping to cultivate a world-class food scene.
