Canadian Travelers Are Getting More Ways to Fly to The Bahamas
Canadian travelers will have more ways than ever to reach The Bahamas this summer and fall, with a major boost in airlift from cities across eastern Canada.
Air Canada is launching two new nonstop routes to Nassau, with flights from Ottawa and Halifax beginning December 5 and operating weekly through April 10, 2026. The carrier is also bringing back its seasonal nonstop service from Montreal to Nassau starting June 20, with flights every Friday through August 29 aboard an Airbus A220.
Meanwhile, Air Canada’s frequent service from Toronto to Nassau—already operating six to seven times weekly—will continue. The airline will also resume its seasonal route from Toronto to Georgetown, Exuma, in November, running through April 2026.

Sunwing Vacations is also expanding its service. The airline’s route from Toronto to Grand Bahama will become a year-round weekly flight starting this summer. Its Montreal to Grand Bahama route will also continue operating year-round on Saturdays.
Canada remains one of the top source markets for Bahamian tourism, and officials say the expanded airlift is a key part of efforts to boost year-round visitation across the archipelago.
Club Med will also offer a nonstop charter to San Salvador for guests staying at its all-inclusive Columbus Isle Resort, with Tuesday departures through July 29.
