Bahamasair Just Resumed Its Raleigh-Grand Bahama Flights
Bahamasair’s landmark service between Raleigh-Durham and Grand Bahama has officially resumed for the season, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.
The nonstop service resumed on Nov 12, with the first plane from Raleigh arriving in Grand Bahama with approximately 100 passengers on board.
That included visitors, officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, Bahamasair and travel agents.
The flight also includes a final leg connecting to Nassau.
It is the only regularly-scheduled nonstop service between Raleigh-Durham and the Caribbean.
Service is operating twice weekly, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays. The route will be operating for the season, with flights running through May 23, 2024.
