This Caribbean Jazz Festival Is Back

The popular Jazz ’n Creole music festival is back in Dominica, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The 12th edition fo the event will be held April 30 at the stunning Fort Shirley in Dominica’s Cabrits National Park. 

The festival, which first launched in 2010, is a fusion of jazz and creole music, with food, dance, culture and arts. 

This year’s event is being held under the theme of “rainforest fantasy.”

This year’s lineup includes the Grammy-nominated Black Violin out of Fort Lauderdale, Island Jazz Collective and local Dominican bands like Signal Band and Swingin Stars.
