Turks and Caicos’ Sailrock Adds New Villa

Sailrock South Caicos, a luxury villa resort and residential community in the Turks and Caicos Islands, is launching several new luxury villas with a range of configurations and homesites.

Among these is the Five-Bedroom Garden Estate Villa, to be located on a secluded beachfront site in the private Peninsula Estates neighborhood, a 23,000-square-foot collection of private rooms, terraces and gardens.

For those looking to own a vacation home in Turks and Caicos, the Five-Bedroom Garden Estate Villa is available for $11.95 million, said Kashmie Ali, managing director of Sailrock South Caicos.

“It’s more of a place to invest,” said Ali. “It’s an investment with the flexibility of having your home at your leisure. They can buy and allow Sailrock to bring it in our rental pool.

Ali said Sailrock currently has 36 units in its rental pool, including beachfront villas, ridge top suites and several private villas in the Peninsula neighborhood.

The Five-Bedroom Garden Estate Villa entrance opens into the Great Room, an airy space that features an exposed vaulted ceiling and two sets of large sliding glass doors that lead to outdoor terraces.

The villa also features a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, a dining area, a living room, a media room, a laundry room and pool, among other attractive amenities. All five bedrooms feature closets, their own outdoor terraces and ensuite bathrooms with connected outdoor shower gardens.

But Ali said it’s something else that makes this villa so unique.

“The style and the scale make this villa unique,” he said, noting that Turks and Caicos is not heavily populated with large developments. “If you want a scale like this in Turks and Caicos, it’s hard to find because of the strict building rules.”

The Sailrock Peninsula comprises several neighborhoods within hundreds of acres of unique topography, vegetation and shoreline. The community is great for birding, hiking, biking and exploration.

Eleven private villas have been completed in these neighborhoods with more planned in the coming year.

Ali said Sailrock has invested millions in upgrades and expansions over the last six years and plans to keep pouring in money over the next few years to further improve the community.

Some examples, Ali said, are Sailrock adding tennis and basketball courts this year and a program for nature enthusiasts next year.

Sailrock is less than two hours from Miami and a short island-hop flight from Providenciales, and home to one of the largest coral reefs in the world.

“There is definitely a huge demand for what we and the outer islands offer, and there is a reason for that,” said Ali. “We are a very authentic Turks and Caicos, we are not overbuilt, we are rustic, we have that old-time charm.”
