With the rise of “virtual” vacations, Antigua and Barbuda has launched a pair of new tourism shows.

The new digital programming includes “In the Mix,” which will air every Thursday at 10AM and feature some of the destination’s best mixologists and “Wadadli Eats,” which will air on Fridays and give travelers a taste of the islands at home.

“The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority is using the opportunity to showcase Antigua and Barbuda’s amazing mixologists and chefs, allowing them to share the recipes for some of their favorite cocktails and island dishes with fans and potential visitors,” the ABTA said in a statement.

Last week’s Wadadli Eats, for example, featured Chef Jacqueline Thomas of Antigua’s Villas at Sunset Lane, who worked with Chef Jeremiah Nathaniel of Galley Bay Resort and Spa to show how to prepare a tomato and zucchini tian with sauteed red snapper in a white wine tomato sauce.

The first edition of “In the Mix” featured Timmy Thomas of Timmy Time Cocktails, who made a cocktail with Antigua’s signature English Harbour Rum.

Both of the programs can be watched on Antigua and Barbuda’s facebook and Instagram pages.
