Park Hyatt St Kitts Names New General Manager

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 21, 2019

The Park Hyatt St Kitts has named a new general manager, the property told Caribbean Journal.

The luxury resort, the first and only Park Hyatt in the Caribbean, has tapped Marc Schneider to the role.

An “esteemed Hyatt veteran,” Schenider will oversee all operations at the luxury beach resort set on Banana Bay in St Kitts’ tony Christophe Harbour development.

“As Park Hyatt’s first and only property in the Caribbean, we are excited to welcome Marc to the helm of Park Hyatt St. Kitts – A luxury resort that authentically celebrates island culture and its natural environment,” said Myles McGourty, senior vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean at Hyatt. “Marc’s strong financial aptitude, well-rounded leadership skillset and strong desire to succeed will make him an asset to the team and will help him further enhance guest experiences by introducing rare and enticing amenities that attract discerning travelers from around the globe.”

Schneider was most recently the resort manager at the 1,000-room Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in The Bahamas.

“I am delighted to be joining the inspiring team at Park Hyatt St. Kitts, and I look forward to continuing to introduce our guests to the warmth, vibrancy, and hospitality for which the Kittitian community is known. In my new role, I will strive to further elevate the uncommon and enriching Park Hyatt St. Kitts experience to create lasting memories for returning and future guests alike,” Schneider said.
