Delta Air Lines is expanding its service to The Bahamas this fall.
The carrier has announced plans to add a second daily flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport beginning Oct. 1.
The second daily flight is part of a wider Caribbean expansion for the carrier, which has been adding new routes across the region in the last year.
It’s another boost for what has become one of the fastest-growing destinations in the region, in large part thanks to the debut of the 2,300-room Baha Mar megaresort on Cable Beach.
