How to Buy Your Own Beach in the Dominican Republic

Looking to escape to the beach — permanently?

Sure, you could buy a beach house, or a villa, or even a hotel.

But why not buy your own beach in the Caribbean?

Now you can, a nearly mile-long stretch of beach on 80.14 acres in the Dominican Republic.

La Entrada, which is located about 30 minutes west of the Samana-El Catey International Airport, is about 15 minutes from the new Playa Grande beach development.

The La Entrada property is currently listed with William Holden of Holden Sotheby’s International Realty, based in Cabarete.

The price? $14.9 million.

It’s great for windsurfing, kiteboarding and swimming. But if you buy it, it’s great for just about anything.
