Jamaica Names New Tourism Minister

Jamaica has a new Tourism Minister, but he’s no stranger to the role.

Former Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett is returning as the country’s new Tourism Minister, having served as Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism from 2007 to 2011 in the previous Jamaica Labour Party government.

He succeeds former Tourism Minister Dr Wykeham McNeill, who had served in the post since 2011.

Most recently, Bartlett had served as the chairman and co-founder of CTICo Ltd, a BPO and marketing-service firm for the tourism industry.

He had also been serving on the affiliates’ executive council of the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
