We are eager to embark on this new venture,” said Ruben Becerra, Vice President of Corporate Affairs & Business Development for Karisma Hotels and Resorts. “We see great potential in developing a new line of boutique hotels in Latin America, and we couldn’t think of better a way to launch this brand than with the sophisticated and successful ARSENAL de Cartagena properties.”

The Arsenal and Arsenal Hotel Boutique include 14 and 34 rooms, respectively.

The new properties are the first of what will be a major expansion for the company in Latin America and the Caribbean, with five hotels coming on line in Latin America in the next five years, along with new beach properties in the Caribbean.
