The MV Horizon cruise ship has made its first official call to Tortola on Friday, the BVI Ports Authority announced.

The ship is operated by Pullmantur Cruises.

The ship, which previously visited the territory under its former name, “Pacific Dream,” brought more than 1,400 passengers and crew to the Cruise Pier in Road Town.

Horizon will end a seven-day cruise to La Romana in the Dominican Republic; it visited Basseterre, St Kitts before arriving in the British Virgin Islands.

Horizon returns to the BVI next Friday.
