Haiti Receives New Ambassadors From Bahamas, Costa Rica

Haiti President Michel Martelly received the credentials of a pair of new Ambassadors to the country on Friday.

Martelly welcomed Commander Godfrey Gordon Rolle, the Bahamas’ new Ambassador to Haiti, and Jose Rafael Torres Castro, Costa Rica’s new envoy to the country.

The President said he wanted to “strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between Haiti and the two countries.”

Rolle and Castro are also the two countries’ ambassadors to the Dominican Republic.
