Bimini Big Game Club Reopening Next Week

The Bahamas’ legendary Bimini Big Game Club resort and marina will be reopening Sept. 29 in the wake of Hurricane Irma, the property announced.

The property, which already reopened its signature restaurant, the Bimini Big Game Club Bar & Grill, will be fully open and operational on the 29th.

The property’s on-site dive partner, Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center, said it fared well during the storm and is already open for business.

The resort closed briefly after suffering a “small amount of damage” from Irma. The resort used the time to make minor repairs and conduct a “deep cleaning.”

“While our thoughts continue to be with those affected by Hurricane Irma, we feel fortunate to have weathered the storm,” said Beth Watson, Director of Bimini Big Game Club Resort and Marina. “We’re grateful to our dedicated team who have been working hard to get us reopened and look forward to welcoming our guests back soon.”
