This Top Paradise Island Restaurant Has a New Look
Ocean Blu, one of the two eateries at the Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort on Paradise Island in The Bahamas, has gotten a new look and a new culinary program.
The open-air eatery set next to the resort’s infinity pool has launched a new dinner menu and a new aesthetic.
That includes designs by Boca Raton’s Joanna Kerr, who says the new look is inspired by the restaurant’s oceanside setting.
“We strived to create a design experience that would seamlessly transition from day to night,” notes Kerr. “Every aspect of the design was carefully curated and considered to frame, highlight and celebrate the extraordinary ocean view.”
But it’s not just the look. Ocean Blu is now serving dinner, with what the hotel calls “fresh Caribbean dining” led by Bahamian Chefs Kyera Davis and Ingrid Johnson.
The menu includes dishes like grilled meats, seafood platters and ceviche.
“Ocean Blu offers a culinary treasure trove into Caribbean dining,” says Tarek Cheneir, Director of Food and Beverage at The Ocean Club. “Filled with authentic flavours and seafood delights, guests and locals are becoming frequent patrons of Ocean Blu for the wonderful experience it provides.”
