One of Jamaica’s venerable luxury hotels, the Tryall Club, is planning a major new beach club.

The $9.2 million project will transform the resort’s beachfront area, with a new Beach Bar and Outdoor Grill, a new family pool and lounge area, an expanded beach, a beach boutique and new event spaces.

New York-based master designer Tom Scheerer is leading the interior design of the beach club facilities, with landscape architect Craig Reynolds guiding a significant new landscaping initiative.

The first phase of the project is slated for completion by Nov. 15, according to the property.

The 2,200-acre villa resort is among the most prestigious in Jamaica, anchored by an 18-hole golf course.
