A New Executive Chef in St Lucia

Twin resorts Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain have appointed Stefan Goehcke has their new Executive Chef.

Goehcke has worked in various Michelin-starred restaurants and eateries in culinary capitals around the world, but said he was drawn to these resorts because of their commitment to organic food and their use of local produce.

“I am thrilled to be working closely with the rest of the team and to delight our guests with memorable dining experiences. To be able to receive fresh produce from our organic farm is a great plus,” Goehcke said.

Goehcke will work with the wide variety of culinary experiences offered at the resorts, ranging from modern Caribbean cuisine to traditional Creole, vegetarian and East Indian-Caribbean fusion.

“I look forward to applying my culinary expertise to create an exciting fusion of innovative international cuisine with the exquisite tropical flavors of St. Lucia,” said Goehcke, who has over a decade of experience in restaurants, cruise ships and luxury resorts from Europe to Vietnam and the Maldives.

“We know that Stefan will immerse himself in the paradise that is St. Lucia and we welcome his flair and creativity to our resorts,” said Karolin Troubetzkoy, executive director for marketing and operations at the pair of hotels.
