Blue Diamond is continuing its rapid expansion push in Cuba.

The company’s Memories brand has taken over management at the former Breezes Jibacoa resort, according to the company.

“Designed with families with older children and couples in mind, this 16 years plus resort is located between the rich, cultural treasures of Havana and the lively centre of Varadero,” the company said in a release.

The property is located in the popular Varadero destination, where parent company Blue Diamond Hotels and Resorts has two other properties: the Royalton Hicacos and the Memories Varadero Beach Resort.

Memories Jibacoa has a total of three specialty restaurants, one international buffet, five bars and a swimming pool, among other amenities.
