A New Way to Fly Between Montego Bay and Kingston
In a major boost for domestic connectivity in Jamaica, regional carrier LIAT 2020 is launching new service between Kingston and Montego Bay. The flights, which begin this Friday, mark a significant step in making inter-island — and intra-island — travel faster and more convenient for Jamaican travelers.
The new route will operate three times per week in each direction, with flights from Kingston to Montego Bay on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and return flights from Montego Bay to Kingston on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
One-way fares start at just $122 USD, taxes included, Caribbean Journal has learned.
LIAT’s domestic expansion in Jamaica is part of a broader push across the region.
The airline is also set to launch new service between Antigua and Montego Bay this week, further strengthening its footprint in the northern Caribbean.
The move comes as travelers across the region continue to seek faster, easier ways to connect between major Caribbean gateways.
