Aruba’s Airport Is Opening a New Check-in Terminal for US Departures
Fresh off a record-breaking year, Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport is set to unveil a new US check-in terminal, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.
The new terminal will be making its soft opening debut on April 8, with Delta, United, Southwest and Spirit to start.
By April 29, all American carriers, including AA and JetBlue, will be using th terminal.
It’s a “significant milestone in ongoing efforts to enhance the airport experience,” Marylou Van der Linden, the airport’s operations manager, said in a statement.
“By working closely with airline partners and ground handlers, all systems are being put in place to provide passengers with a streamlined check-in process.”
Last year, Aruba set an all-time record for passenger traffic, surpassing 3.2 million in traffic.
