Why These Top St Kitts Chefs Are Coming to South Beach
A pair of top chefs from St Kitts will be taking their talents to South Beach for the upcoming Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival.
The event, which runs from Feb. 20 to 23, is one of the top events on the global culinary calendar.
Kittitian chefs Stephen Marsham and Alaric Alache will be presenting “authentic dishes that capture the essence of the destination’s gastronomic heritage,” according to the St Kitts Tourism Authority.
“Participating in SOBEWFF presents an incredible opportunity to highlight the diverse and flavourful cuisine of St. Kitts,” said Kelly Fontenelle, CEO of the St Kitts Tourism Authority. “What better way to promote our destination than through the culinary talents of our local chefs, who bring creativity, authenticity, and the essence of our culture to every dish. We are thrilled to have Chef Marsham and Chef Arache represent us on this global stage.”
St Kitts will also be using the platform to promote the broader destination, particularly as a foodie hotspot.
The island has become the leader in the regional farm-to-table movement, as we reported in a recent feature.
