Delta Just Launched New More Nonstop Flights to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
There’s an increasingly important city for Caribbean travel: Detroit, Michigan. Delta has quietly been adding a number of new routes from the city to the Caribbean, including one flight that just kicked off late last month: nonstop service between Detroit and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.
The new route is operating once every week, with service on Saturdays.
The Detroit route comes after Delta just relaunched its nonstop flights between Michigan and Nassau in The Bahamas.
This summer, the carrier plans another Detroit flight, with direct service to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, as previously reported by Caribbean Journal.
The new routes should be exceedingly popular as the perfect antidote to the Motor City’s famously intense winters.
So what about prices?
You can book nonstop service from Detroit to Turks and Caicos on Delta for about $812 roundtrip, according to Google Flights.
