Virgin Voyages' new ship in Port Zante.

Virgin Voyages’ newest ship is now in the Caribbean, and now the Resilient Lady has made its first call on one of the Caribbean’s hottest cruise ports: St Kitts.

The adults-only ship made its inaugural call on Port Zante this week, one of four different inaugural calls by various cruise lines to the island in the last seven days.

It’s part of what St Kitts Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson is calling an “exciting cruise season,” she said in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal.

“Virgin Voyages’ commitment to sustainability and innovation aligns perfectly with our vision for St Kitts as a forward-thinking and eco-conscious destination.”

Virgin Voyages was also in teh news this week for launching its first-ever “annual pass,” which is effectively a cruise-hopping ticket.
