This Old San Juan, Puerto Rico Hotel Is Now a Hilton

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 12, 2024 - 10:08 am

One of San Juan’s hottest boutique hotels is now a Hilton: the Palacio Provincial, the intimate retreat set in a former diplomatic building in Puerto Rico’s capital.

The hotel, a sister property to Old San Juan’s beloved El Convento, is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.

The historic property has become one of the most sought-after places to stay in Old San Juan.

The 43-room boutique, which first opened its doors in 2021, is famous for its rooftop terrace, Atelier.

Hilton had first announced the signing of the property back in March, and now the move is official.

Hilton’s Puerto Rico portfolio now totals nine different properties across the island.
