Mary J. Blige Just Joined the Lineup for the St Kitts Music Festival

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 1, 2024 - 6:23 pm

Grammy-winning superstar Mary J. Blige has joined the lineup for the upcoming St Kitts Music Festival.

The “Family Affair” singer will add serious star power to a slate of stars that already includes Rick Ross, Small Axe Band, Freddie Jackson, Adam O, and Pumpa, among others.

The legendary music festival will once again be held at St Kitts’ Warner Park Stadium.

Other stars already signed on include I-Tebulous, Eazi, Speedy, Tbone, KT Dan, Akaii U Sweet, Mical Teja, Hi-Light, Greenhouse Band, Alkaline, Jaydo$, Third World, Tommy Lee and Mr. Mention.

It’s not just the music, though.

This year’s event includes a series of events across the island, from beach parties to lunchtime concerts and VIP boat rides.

The week concludes with the White Sands Mardi Gras party at St Kitts’ Carambola Beach Club.

“We are so proud of how much this festival has grown in recent years. Securing remarkable headliners, such as Burna Boy and Sean Paul in recent years, and now this year with Mary J. Blige, ensures that St. Kitts will continue to build on its reputation as home to one of the world’s most sought-after summer music festivals.” said Ellison “Tommy” Thompson, CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority. “This epic weekend kicks off our annual Summer of Fun, creating even more reasons to visit St. Kitts in the summer months.”
