The newest boutique hotel in the British Virgin Islands just reopened for the season, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Cornucopia hotel on Virgin Gorda has officially relaunched, the property confirmed this week.

The adults-only hotel first opened its doors last year as a new kind of boutique hotel for the BVI — a hybrid of a villa and a small hotel, one its owners call a “French-inspired inn in the heart of the Caribbean.”

The intimate retreat has just five rooms in a privileged perch on sought-after Virgin Gorda.

It’s about to get even easier to visit Virgin Gorda, with the imminent launch of Tradewind Aviation’s new route between San Juan and Virgin Gorda.
