American Airlines Adding More Cancun Flights for Holidays

American Airlines is adding even more flights to the tourism hotspot of Cancun, Mexico for the holidays, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The peak holiday season will see a broad increase from Miami International Airport, where the world’s largest airline will be flying a total of six daily flights for the holidays.

That covers the period between Dec. 20, 2023 and Jan. 7, 2024.

It’s another significant boost for Cancun, which has added more flights than any other destination since the onset of the pandemic.

American is set to launch a major expansion of service between Miami and the Caribbean this winter, part of a broader push to the region for the tourist season.
