How to Save on a Summer Vacation to the Island of Nevis

By: Alexander Britell - May 30, 2023

It’s one of the most beloved small islands in the Caribbean, and tiny Nevis is making it easier than ever to visit with a host of new summer packages for every kind of traveler.

“A Nevis Summer” has brought together some of the island’s top hotels for a significant new summer savings program that ranges from free extra nights to discounts on spa treatments and food and beverage.

Hotels participating the program include the Montpelier Plantation Inn, the newly-reopened Mount Nevis Hotel, the Oualie Beach Hotel, the Four Seasons Nevis, the Hermitage Inn and the Golden Rock Inn.

The historic Montpelier Plantation Inn, for example, is offering premiere rooms at $195 per night; the Four Seasons is reducing summer room rates as low as $425, along with 10 percent discounts on spa treatments, 10 percent discounts on food and beverage and complimentary use of non-motorized water sports.

“The summer season could not be a more ideal moment to visit Nevis since some of our most beloved and well known events take place during this time like the Nevis Mango Festival and our Culturama Festival,” said Devon Liburd, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority.

Sunshine’s home to the “best rum punch in the Caribbean.”

The programs “give visitors a chance to experience the warmth of Nevisian hospitality,” Liburd said.

The island heats up in more ways than on in the summer, from the nearby St Kitts Music Festival from June 22 to June 24 to the 49th edition of Nevis Culturama, the destination’s ultra-popular summer carnival festival.

“Our ‘A Nevis Summer’ offerings highlight the best of our culture and character so we encourage all to come celebrate with us during this time,” Liburd said.
