Hilton is reopening its pair of all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic next month, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Hilton will be reopening both its Hilton La Romana Family and Hilton La Romana Adult resorts in November. That includes a Nov. 1 relaunch for the Hilton La Romana Family and a Nov. 20 reopening for the Hilton La Romana Adult.

Both resorts suffered some damage during the passage of Hurricane Fiona last month.

Hilton has a pair of resorts in La Romana, its only all-inclusives in the country.

They’re part of a growing portfolio of Hilton-branded all-inclusive in the wider region, for now concentrated in the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Both Hilton resorts in the DR are by Playa Hotels and Resorts, which had to temporarily close five of its Dominican Republic all-inclusive properties after Fiona, including two Hyatt resorts and the Sanctuary Cap Cana. Those resorts will all be open again by Nov. 20.

The Sanctuary property, however, is reopening on Jan. 20.
