Frontier Launching New Punta Cana, Santo Domingo Flights

Frontier Airlines is launching a pair of new routes to the Dominican Republic this fall.
The low-cost carrier is adding new routes from Tampa to both Punta Cana and Santo Domingo, according to the Dominican Republic’s Civil Aviation Authority.
The new service will operate on Airbus A320 neo aircraft with a capacity for 186 seats.
Both routes project to launch on Nov. 5, 2022, according to Dominican officials.
Just as Frontier has dramatically expanded its Caribbean footprint amid the pandemic, the Dominican Republic has more than doubled the number of airlines operating to the country since 2019.
