Virgin Atlantic Launches Edinburgh-Barbados Flights

Virgin Atlantic has launched its first-ever international service from Edinburgh, Scotland, with a brand-new route to Barbados.

The new flights represent the first time Virgin Atlantic has flown to the Caribbean from Scotland in its 37-year history.

It’s the only direct service from Scotland to the Caribbean.

The flights are operating twice each week, with service on Wednesdays and Sundays.

“Our fights flight from Edinburgh to Barbados took to the skies and we can’t wait to welcome more of you onboard our new route,” the company said in a statement.

The new route is part of a broader Caribbean expansion for Virgin Atlantic for the winter tourist season.
