Dominica’s Fort Young Hotel Completes Renovation Project

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - June 30, 2021

Dominica’s Fort Young hotel has completed a renovation project, giving a new look to 21 of its oceanfront deluxe rooms.

The historic Rosea hotel is in the midst of a broader project that will see another 13 rooms updated this summer.

The Fort Young is also planning to unveil a new waterfront spa, along with six all-new oceanfront junior suites.

That’s along with 60 new “Fort Rooms,” according to the property.

The project was undertaken by design firm Apple + Iron.

“The site’s rich history, its breathtaking ocean and mountain views, along with Dominica’s impressive volcanic rock and pebbled beaches, inspired our design concept for the guestrooms,” said Michelle Leotaud, design lead with Apple + Iron.
