St Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport has launched a new on-site test center for travelers, officials said this week.
The new center is the product of a collaboration with the local Health Care Laboratory Services in St Maarten.
Departing passengers can now get a certified antigen test with a wait time of only 15 minutes.
The new testing lab, which opened in a mobile facility this week, is also available for the general public.
It’s set adjacent to the employee parking area at the airport, east of the terminal building.
The lab helps travelers comply with CDC requirements for returning travelers, which mandate a negative test within 72 hours before returning to the U.S.
The test costs $110, with tests available between 11 AM and 4 PM.
