On Nov. 18, Spirit will inaugurate a new route from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Baranquilla’s Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport.

“We are very excited to welcome Barranquilla to the Spirit family,” said Camilo Martelo, director of international airports for Spirit Airlines. “Colombia is a very important market for Spirit and we committed to continue growing in the country.”

The Barranquilla flights will run three times each week, according to the company.
