Delta Launches New York-Bogota Flights

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 7, 2020 - 12:29 pm

There’s a new way to get to Bogota from the Northeast.

Delta Air Lines has officially launched a new nonstop route between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Bogota, Colombia’s El Dorado International Airport.

The new route is operating daily on Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 20 first class seats, 29 seats in Delta Comfort+ and 150 seats in the main cabin.

“The most rewarding part of working for an airline is being able to offer services that bring families together while providing them with a stress-free and entertaining flight experience, and this is what our new daily, year-round service will do just in time for the holidays,” said Ricardo Garnica Montoya, Delta’s Sales Manager in Colombia.

It’s another lift for a country that continues to be among the wider region’s top hubs for tourism investment.

“For 2020 and beyond, we look forward to providing business travelers, tourists and the Colombian community with award-winning service on this new route and to connecting points throughout the world from our New York-JFK hub,” Montoya said.
