It’s been a year of broad expansion for low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines, which has been rapidly growing its network in the Caribbean Basin.
And now the airline has added another new route to the region.
Spirit has kicked off its new service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to the Colombian destination of Cali, a city that is now Spirit’s fifth destination in Colombia.
The new route comes a little over a month after Spirit launched new flights from Orlando to another popular destination in Colombia: Cartagena.
Cali is set in the southwestern corner of Colombia.
