Fresh off the debut of his already-acclaimed eatery Braata, St Croix Chef Digby Stridiron has announced the opening of another new restaurant: Ama at Cane Bay.

The new restaurant, which is set at the former Waves at Cane Bay location, gets its name from the Taino word for ocean.

The menu will focus on “progressive seafood that’s been sustainably sourced,” Stridiron said.

Mixologist Patrick Johnson will be leading the cocktail program at the eatery.

Stridiron was recently named Caribbean Chef of the Year for 2018 in Caribbean Journal’s annual Caribbean Travel Awards.
