Tortola’s Sugar Mill Hotel Is Open Again

Tortola’s signature boutique hotel has officially reopened its doors.

The historic Sugar Mill Hotel and Restaurant is back again across the beach from Apple Bay.

The 23-room property has also unveiled a major addition: the Mediterranean-inspired Tramonti restaurant set right on the beach in Apple Bay.

That complements the property’s flagship Sugar Mill restaurant, long one of the island’s leading eateries.

The Sugar Mill’s spa is also open, led by therapist Kishan Tyson.

“We can’t wait to welcome our first guests & hopefully see some of you returning to the hotel or visiting for the first time,” the property said in a statement.

The hotel had been shuttered since Hurricane Irma in 2017.
